Privacy Policy
Grand Builders Inc. ("Grand Builders," "we," "us") respects the privacy of every visitor to our website and every prospective client who reaches out to us. This policy describes what information we actually collect, how it is processed, and who receives it. We wrote it to reflect what the website actually does, not what a generic template says it might.
Summary
Grand Builders does not run analytics, advertising pixels, session recording, keystroke capture, mouse tracking, behavioral profiling, or fingerprinting on this website. We do not set cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics. We do not sell or share visitor information with data brokers or advertisers.
Information we collect
What you send through the project inquiry form. If you submit the contact form, we receive the information you choose to share, typically your name, contact details, project location, and a description of what you're considering. This information is transmitted only when you intentionally submit the form. We do not capture what you type into the form as you type it, and we do not send form contents to any third party before you submit.
What you send by email or phone. If you email info@grand-builders.com or call the studio, we receive whatever you choose to share in that conversation.
Information our infrastructure necessarily processes
Delivering any website requires basic technical information to reach your browser. Our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) necessarily processes standard request metadata to serve pages, protect the site from abuse and attack, and diagnose problems. This metadata can include your IP address, browser and device information, the pages requested, timestamps, and referring URLs. It is used for delivery, security, and diagnostics. It is not used for advertising, analytics, or profiling.
When you submit the contact form, the notification email we receive includes the IP address associated with the submission so we can identify and respond to abuse. This is our own internal record of an inquiry and is not shared with third parties.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not set cookies for analytics, advertising, or visitor tracking. Cloudflare may set a small number of strictly necessary security cookies (for example, to help detect abusive traffic); these are used solely to protect the site. The site uses small amounts of browser sessionStorage for functional page-transition and first-visit animations. Nothing stored client-side is used for tracking or shared with any third party.
Third parties that actually receive information
- Cloudflare, Inc., our hosting, DNS, and security provider. Cloudflare necessarily processes request metadata (including IP address) to deliver the site and defend it against abuse.
- Resend (Resend.com), the transactional email service that delivers contact-form notifications to our inbox. Resend only receives the contents of an inquiry when you submit the form.
- Google Workspace, the email service that hosts info@grand-builders.com. Google processes email addressed to us as our email provider.
This site does not load third-party analytics, advertising, marketing, or social-media scripts. Fonts, styles, and scripts are served from our own domain.
How we use it
We use the contact information you send us only to respond to your inquiry and to communicate about a potential or active project. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
For active client projects, we share project-relevant information with subcontractors and design partners who need it to do their work. All such partners are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Data minimization and retention
We collect only what is necessary to operate the website, respond to inquiries, and serve our clients. We retain contact-form submissions and email correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, provide services, and maintain business records. Infrastructure and security logs are retained by our providers under their standard practices for the operational purposes described above.
Your choices
You can browse the website without submitting anything. If you would like a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, email info@grand-builders.com at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act); we will honor valid requests to the extent required by law.
